Return Policy

We strive to get your products to you in mint condition and in a timely manner but occasionally, things can go awry. In the rare event that there is a problem with your order/product we will do our utmost best to support you with resolving the issue. We recommend that you inspect your delivery for damages or defects when it arrives and in the event of a problem, call 07802632430 during normal business hours.

Our return policy for dry goods and drinks is 14 days from the date of purchase. If 14 days have gone by, unfortunately we won’t be able to offer you a refund or an exchange. In order for a dry good/drink to be returned, it must be in the same condition as when it was purchased, undamaged and in its original packaging. To process your return, we require a proof of purchase in the form of a receipt. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of perishable goods. We will discuss the best actions to take when you call.

Unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Refund Policy

Once we have received your return and it has been inspected we will send you an email to notify you of whether you are eligible for a refund. We will then discuss whether you would prefer a like for like replacement, or a partial/full refund. If you are eligible, we will automatically refund the price of the item/items back to the credit card or payment method that you paid with. In the event that you paid in cash, we will refund you the amount in cash. Depending on your bank, refunds can take a few days to be processed to your account. Exchanges

At The Cheshire Mercantile, we only replace items bought if the contents of the packaging are defective, not the actual packaging itself. 

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over £50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service. We can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item or that it will arrive in the same condition as it was sent.
